Subject: 20150813 – CPSC Recall of Weather Radios..

In cooperation with the CPSC, Ambient Weather is recalling 12,500 of their weather radios.  The recalled radios were sold from November 2012 thru December 2013.  The recall indicates that the radio’s power adapter can overheat posing a fire hazard.  Ambient Weather has received three reports of fire and smoke in the batter area of the radios, no injuries have been reported.  The power adapter was eligible to bear the cULus Mark.
